The Gretsch 5120 is a stylish, tasteful and great sounding professional guitar.

It's also made to a high standard unlike some of Gretsch's earlier efforts. This is a much higher quality guitar than you would expect for the price.

It has outstanding finish, setup, tone, value, electrics and color with a uniqueness factor of 9.

Out of box, the action is low (which I like) and the intonation perfect. Some people worry about the tuning of Gretsches but I can say I've never had a problem with that, even with the older models.

Prepare to make a great twangin' noise with this guitar. It's possibly the twangiest I've ever played. If you're into rockabilly but you don't have the odd 3 grand to spare for a 6120 then this is a seriously good alternative. It does the job just as well as a 6120.

The 2 way pickup selector on the G5120 controls the amazing dual Gretsch humbuckers. Along with that great Gretsch twang, you can get lovely jazz tones with the humbucking neck pickup.

If you want a bit of distortion or a smooth blues tone, the bridge pickup will do the job admirably.

There are 3 tone control knobs and 1 master output control. The tone controllers give you the ability to get practically any tone you want.

Overall this is a fantastic, beautiful guitar.
